I will be releasing a final update with the most up-to-date version of Chromium that still supports Windows 7/8, to hopefully reduce the possibility of security issues for people who decide to continue using the app for a bit longer. Keep in mind that this version is still old, since Chromium dropped support for Windows 7/8 half a year ago.

There will be a warning message when you launch the app, which will explain what's happening primarily to those who don't follow my socials but still install updates through the app. The warning message can be hidden by launching TweetDuck with the -hidedeprecation command line argument.

I have removed all download links from the official website and the repository homepage. You can find all releases here on GitHub if you know where to look.

Now with tweetdeck being paid can the project come back?

No. TweetDeck being paid is specifically one of the reasons why I'm not working on this anymore.
